At 5-5, my Rutgers is now 1 win from bowl eligibility. A couple weeks ago, I thought they would be lucky to win 4 games. Mike Teel can now do more than just overthrowing passes or throwing into double coverage. He can even catch a pass. The defense that was dominated by North Carolina has shutdown
Pitt and South Florida and put many quarterbacks out of business.
Unfortunately, due to some lousy bowl agreements and Notre Dame, Rutgers will probably end up in Canada again. I’ll probably go, but for a BCS conference, the Big East got the shaft again.
Well, there’s always somehow winning the Big East.
